No Data Storage
We don't permanently store your IP address or location data after your speed test completes.

What We Collect & Why
Temporary IP Detection
To provide accurate network diagnostics, we temporarily detect your IP address and geolocation during the speed test. This information is used only to select the optimal test server and is discarded immediately after your test completes. We do not log or store this data.
Test Results (Optional)
Your download speed, upload speed, ping, and jitter results are stored locally in your browser for the test history feature. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it manually.
Analytics & Performance
We use Google Analytics 4 for basic website performance metrics. This helps us improve the speed test tool, but we don't track individual users or collect personal information. You can opt out using your browser's privacy settings.
We Never Share Your Data
Unlike many speed test services, ScanPing does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We don't use your connection information for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purposes. Your internet speed test is purely for your benefit.
